Farnell Freight Forwarders was founded in 1999 by Vann Farnell Keefe, who built the company from her home office after receiving her Federal Maritime Commission license. Through hard work, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to customer service, she laid the foundation for what Farnell Freight has become today.
Over the past two decades, our company has grown into a trusted logistics partner with deep expertise in the Bermuda trade. Our team brings more than 100 years of combined experience in the transportation industry, including over 50 years dedicated specifically to serving the Bermuda market. That experience translates into practical solutions, pro-active communication, and dependable execution.
Our operations are strategically located in Jacksonville, Florida, within two miles of interstates I-95 and I-10. Our 47,000+ square-foot warehouse facility allows us to handle cargo efficiently and adapt to a wide range of shipping needs. With both our office and warehouse under one roof, we maintain complete visibility and control over every shipment. When your freight is with Farnell, it is truly in our hands – and you will never hear that we don’t know where your cargo is.
Our yard accommodates more than 15 container chassis / trailers, and we operate our own yard truck to position containers directly to our loading docks. Inside the warehouse, we utilize modern equipment, including 4,000 lbs capacity forklifts and specialty attachments such as extensions, barrel clamps, carpet poles, and trailer hitch forks, along with a full fleet of dollies and pallet jacks. This equipment allows us to safely and efficiently handle a wide variety of cargo types.
